Car manufacturers in turn, are continuously coming up with different ways to save up some gas. One way to make the most out of gas is by knowing about the fuel system. A Jeep’s fuel system is not really difficult to understand. The basic function of the fuel system is to store and provide fuel to the cylinder chamber where it can be mixed with air, vaporized and burned to produce energy. The fuel system has different components to effectively function. One of them is the fuel tank, where the fuel is temporarily stored until the fuel pump draws it and push it through the fuel lines. The fuel lines then delivers it through a fuel filter, where contaminants are removed from the fuel. The fuel then goes to either a carburetor or fuel injector, then to the cylinder chamber for combustion.
