A Jeep’s fuel system is not really difficult to understand. The basic function of the fuel system is to store and provide fuel to the cylinder chamber where it can be mixed with air, vaporized and burned to produce energy. The fuel system has different components to effectively function. One of them is the fuel tank, where the fuel is temporarily stored until the fuel pump draws it and push it through the fuel lines. The fuel lines then delivers it through a fuel filter, where contaminants are removed from the fuel.
