how much hp if i put itb (indivdual throttle body) on my k20?
just bought a k20 from a junkyard off a wrecked 07 civic si dat had 18k for 500 bucks and a eg shell for 400 bucks i wanna keep it all motor what else should i do to it i have a couple thing in mind just lookin for hat other ppl would do no turbo or nitrous
individual throttle bodies although look sexy are the last thing you should do to a motor if you want to run all motor. you will need aggressive cams like skunk2 pro series, same with valves valve springs retainers port and polish cam gears your going to want to up your compression so new pistons and since your getting new pistons might as well get way better piston rings and pretty much build your block. then. run individual throttle bodies. they wont do really anything unless you do all that other work. and in the end you will gain maybe 10-15hp from them. but your going to want to put them on at the point where you can look at your motor and think. damn nothing else to do....thats when you put them on. they look amazingly sexy on k20s though. i want to have a fully built b18 with them. good luck.
