Build A Custom Home That Stands Out With Great House Design
If you want to build a custom home, look no further than Great House Design, a Spokane-Washington based firm that specializes in designing houses. The team of expert designers at Great House Design not only have over 8000 stock plans to draw upon, but are also sufficiently knowledgeable and qualified to help you build a custom home that is unique to your needs and tastes. In addition, they can be counted on modify existing plans to suit your requirements.
Each set of plans covers roofing, floors, foundations, exterior elevations, upper floor framing, cross sections, schematic electrical layouts and general specifications such as carpentry, excavation, masonry, grading, concrete work, woodwork, thermal and moisture protection, drywall, tile, flooring, glazing, caulking, and sealants. Most plans offered by Great House Design to build your custom home are available in mirror reverse for a minimal fee. Should you choose this option, the lettering and dimensions will not appear backwards.
Great House Design plans are detailed for general construction and conform to the 2006 International Residential Code [IRC], Uniform Building Code [UBC], the Council of American Building Officials [CABO], and Southern Building Code [SBC] specifications. Since local codes vary by city and county, the plans that you use to build your custom home with Great Home Design may require modification for conformity. In fact, any plan that will be used to build your custom home must be approved by local building officials.
In addition to the Great House Design plan set to build your custom home, you will need a site plan which situates your house on your property and must be approved by your local planning department. You will also need a specific materials list, which tells your contractor what types of fixtures, paints, moldings, etc. you want for your new construction, and a building materials list. You can get your site plan and materials list from your contractor.
However, in spite of any additional expenses that these procedures might require, you can save money if you choose to build a custom home instead of purchasing one that has already been built. To begin with, pre-built homes are more expensive. In addition, you can choose your own layout and plan.
Similarly, there is no cost difference between building your home with a stock plan or a custom plan. In either case, the square foot cost is about the same, for the same general quality and equivalent materials. chevy 200 r4 tranny how good is it?
will the 200 r4 fit right in to replace the 350 or will i have to modify? do you think the 200 is a good cruising tranny,it will be behind a 400 sbc.
Why do people think the 200 4R is weak???
It's much stronger than the 700r4. Plus better 1 and 2 gear ratios. Not the big drop from 1 to 2 like the 700r4.
Look people the weak 200's was the th-200c and the 200 metric 3 speeds.. NOT the 200 4r 4 speeds.
You will need to mod your trans crossmember.
The mount on the 200 4r is placed right at the end of the tailshaft. It's 6.5" fruther back than the th-350's mount point.
Your driveshaft will still work though (if you have a th-350 short shaft, if long shaft trans the driveshaft will be too short)
We have used the 200 4r modd'ed behind roots blown 427's, twin turbo'ed 355's, N/A 454's. Not a prob at all.
Now the 700r4 stock I wouldnt put behind a 300 HP crate 350... Modd'ed at its highest level, I still wouldnt put it behind an engine making more that 475 HP
As I said about the 200 4r we use on 500, 700, 1000 HP engines with no prob
